while waiting for the bus today i saw someone had taped a copy of the canadian charter of rights and freedoms to the bus stop shelter......they even highlighted some things they thought important......for us to know.........
so, i too felt this urge to dash down a sentence to match the one my people serve.......we are under the indian act, which overrides the canadian charter of rights and freedoms......and canada is one of the small group of countries to still deny it's native peoples the same sort of rights and freedoms acknowledged by united nations and amnesty international.........
nice.
one long sentence for my people no matter how you look at it........
