re: traditional foods

Hello friends, fans, foe and lovers,

here are some plants from my territory that are ready or are winding down right now, asparagus, non-native, used by europeans for keeping ditches from collapsing and so on. and ceweta, or indian celery, which is pretty good, but strong flavoured.

also i've included Skupen or bitter root, which is cleaned and dried, celery seeds you can use in tea, actually you can use both in tea, but it'll clean you out! haha. and then some canned salmon. the salmon run numbers are lower and lower every year in the thompson river, we actually only fished for 2 weeks last year. i only went line casting and got a few for the winter. not like the old days.

anyways,

until next time lover,

cb
