re: a hole lotta stuff.....

hello friends, fans, foe, lovers and the like,

i miss you, yessssss i sin-cerely do........i miss meeting you on the road when you ask why i haven't posted anything for awhile, (which always kind of weirds me out, but strangely, encourages me to get off my ass....) and i miss you at gigs, readings, exhibitions, screenings and the like......and just miss meeting you randomly on the street........i sometimes love it when you rant at me about the downfall of this, or the rise of that......it's always great to hear someone with an opinion.....

anyway, in the meantime, i FINALLY have completed the "JESUS COYOTE TeeVee" new short, experimental film.......and it will have it's premiere screening at the REEL ROOTS FESTIVAL in Kelowna, BC, at the Fabulous Kelowna Art Gallery on Friday, Feb 11, around 7 pm-ish.......

do come check it out, and prepare for an auditory, visual orgy.........

it will then hit a variety of cities across canada, and will keep you up to date on the staggering meanderings of Jesus Coyote and his perilous misadventures across the red/black roads of canada..........

so, this is a key for you to unlock the mysteries of Jesus Coyote, decode and you will perhaps understand a persnickety bit more about the film release........

"The sky was getting brighter as a veil of light was being spread across the city, slowly washing away the night and all the dreams that came with it. What was there to prove, what was there to lose? In a small town people were scared of the truth, of the beauty and of the ugly sides of life. Most days I can take it, then there are other days when I’m exhausted because I know this is not where I want to be and it seems like torture. To watch people kiss each other’s asses and struggle to maintain the lies, the exorbitant amount of energy, time and money it was to accomplish it. I had no patience for the boomer assholes who drove around oblivious to the truth in their monstrous sport utility vehicles, ignorant of the fact that the poor see this wealth, this obvious show of status and we loathe them for crawling in it."

There's also an interesting art show going on at the Kelowna Art Gallery, not to Mention we have the opening for the Fabulous SUE BIZECKI show called "WINDOWS" at the ALTERNATOR CENTRE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART, opening  tomorrow night, at 7 pm.......

here's a link to check out the details .....

until next time lovers,

cb
