re: classical music and new art.

hello friends, fans, foe and lovers,

i'm back on the blog and my youtube channel, working like mad on new projects i suppose. it's mid-winter here where i live and the sky is eternally grey and blah, unless it gets freezing cold, -10 or more and then it's beautiful out, blue skies and no clouds. i'd rather have that then this endless dreary grey. it makes me depressed i think, i think i suffer a bit from depression in the first place, mildly, not the super intense, soul paralyzing type, but i can feel rather melancholy this time of year.

it doesn't get light until 8 am and starts to get dark around 4 pm, so with the grey skies and short days, i'm surprised more people aren't depressed. haha? i'm trying something new, listening to some classical music in the morning, today is day one and so far so good, today i'm listening to string quartet's by Hayden. i found a site that lets you download them, because they're public domain, i'll use some for graffiti art films, haha, instead of the usual hip hop or metal music, we'll start them out with classical instead. haha

anyway, i'm immersing myself in new creative endeavours to keep my mind focused and hopefully sharp, so here's some new-ish art.

i suppose i'm publishing this particular piece of art because of what happened in paris yesterday, or was it the day before? 12 people were shot and kill at "Charlie Hebdo," a newspaper that specialized in political, cultural and religious satire. the 12 were killed by 3 nut jobs proclaiming to do it for allah and islam. of course islamist leaders denounced such horrible acts and these three, now down to two, are on their own. the world is such a messed up place. killing people over cartoons? really?

we cannot let tyranny or oppression push us down and we cannot live in fear any longer, we have been forever already! question authority, religious or political and thinking for yourself is the only way out of here, to change this already oppressive system that's already rigged and set up for the super elite and wealthy in the first place!!?!

already there is massive memorials around the world for the artists, editors and security died
trying to save them from three madmen with guns.

we cannot live in fear.

Stephane Charbonnier, Charlie Hebdo's editor RIP
