re: shut up and play yer guitar

hello friends, fans, foe and lovers,

i was asked to do a "beginner" guitar video, so here's what i came up with, actually it was like ten minutes long and kind of cheesy, so i cut the cheese and shortened the video down to 3:37. haha. cut the cheese. fart jokes never get old.

anyway, i might do some more beginner guitar videos, i get asked to do them now and then and they're fun to do. we'll see what happens.

until next time lovers,

cb

re: heading home....

hello friends, fan, foe and lovers,

here's my new song and video, called "heading home," a music video about well, heading home. haha. i spent a lot of time this past summer in spences bridge on the rez, on my mum's side of the family. it was pretty cool to get to know people back home and hang out with my mum, i haven't done that in years. there was a healing element to it i think because i feel pretty good and grounded, and ready for the future and what lies ahead.

so, enjoy and until next time,

chris bose.

re: acoustic guitar time........

hello friends, family, foe and lovers,

it's been awhile, i think i'm going through some inner turmoil, aka, midlife crisis. haha. i've spent the past ten years on the road, and lost more than i gained. it's not worth it to me anymore. i need to seriously re-evaluate my life goals. the future isn't lost, it's just sort out of focus, hahaha. don't get me wrong, i had my share of good times on the road, more than bad, but still, at the end of the day you have to weigh whether or not it was worth it. i'm contemplating life and accomplishments right now and sorting out what my next steps are in life.

hopefully all is going according to plan for you,

all the beast,

cb
ps: new video i made one morning this week, just to let you know i'm alive and kicking!!!

re: day 5 of 5 day song challenge

hello friends, fans, foe and lovers,

here is the final video of the 5 day song challenge brought on by dean hunt and bracken hanuse corlett. i decided to make a video for each song, which was kind of crazy, but is already helping my creativity in video editing and making, hope you dig them, and stay tuned for more videos and songs to come!!!

until next time,

cb

re: song 4

hello friends, family, foe and lovers,

here's my video for day 4 of the 5 day song challenge!

it's basically a road video, touring away from home and family, trying to make a buck and being creative at the same time ain't easy and requires a tremendous amount of time on the road. which i love, because you see the most amazing things, meet all kinds of people, live and have crazy stories and learn from it all. hopefully. haha. anyway, check it out!

cheers,

cb

Hello lovers, fans, friends and foe,

how's it going? here's a new video offering, a video poem for my new book called, "A moon made of copper," featuring music by yours truly and my old pal Sean Luciw. We recorded this in about 2003, but i think i wrote it back in the 1990's.

making some good changes in my life, and will be continuing to upload new things as times go on and i get on with it.

cheers,

re: new song for the old ceremony......

hello friends, fans, foe and lovers,

bumming around town this morning, actually, i wasn't bumming around, i was dropping off my kids, thinking as i stared out the window on the bus, that a) i'm lucky, but luck is a lot of hard work and being ready for when an opportunity strikes! b) life is what you make it! c) i wouldn't be where i am without the help and support of a lot of people.

now that i'm more awake, i am sure to acknowledge them, but their support either financially, spiritually, skillsharing, mentoring or just someone to listen to my 1st world problems in the painfully (at times) dramatic world of the arts, is and has been great.

don't kid yourself and think you're special, and the world revolves around you, because i know there are 10,000 kids out there who are better at what they do, and hungrier for it, so don't let it go to your head, whatever "success" you have right now. whoa, preachy eh? hahah.

anyway, here's a guitar riff for you to enjoy, i recorded it years ago. and just found it again. there are hours and hours of stuff recorded and stuck on a harddrive or dvd disc around my place. whole albums waiting in the can for the right moment, or the moment has passed and i'm not interested. whatever.

such is the way of art.

talk more soon,

cb
