re: T'kemlups pow wow arbour statues......

hello lovers,

i hope you're well, these are some flicks of the T'kemlups Pow Wow arbour statues......they're massive and imposing.

go check them out yourself if you're ever passing through town.

re: the loops at dawn......

Hello lovers,

some flicks i found while going through assorted files looking for art. it's funny how this blog occasionally turns into a journal. these are some photos of sunrise, i would guess last spring, on an ipod i've lost. this is something i'm an expert at, losing ipods, phones and other expensive high tech shit. and the last two photos are of my friend shealagh rocking out on a couple of my guitars and my stack. loud.

well, i'll keep posting photos and i hope you enjoy them. i think the sunrise photos show the beauty of the loops.

until next time,

cb

re: a flurry of activity......

hello lovers,

so, about the flurry of activity on my blog, well, i'm not a hundred percent certain as to why. maybe guilt? but at least i'm posting now. haha.

it was beautiful out today, as so often the case in kamloops, bc, it starts off amazing and then goes for a shit by about 1 pm, so i headed out early, around 9 am, i was up at 5, but had to get the kids ready for school, so cut me some slack! haha.

anyway, i went downtown and walked across the red bridge over the T'kemlups indian reservation and walked along the river all the way to the train bridge and back. it's kind of a ritual really. it's quiet over there and i can chill out and relax. so here's some flicks from an average walk. and true enough, by the time i walked back to town, it was shit out. haha.

chris.

re: nice weather a couple days ago, then it snowed.

hello lovers,

ah, weather be damned, it was nice the other day, blue skies and weird showers, then it snowed. argh.

just thought i'd show you some flicks.

until next time

i have a large collective of art magazines
and books, mostly low-brow stuff as
it is tended to be called
but it's what i love.
so i guess i'm low brow. haha
anyway, that's my juxtapoz magazine collection
in comic book plastic
because i've got kids that spill
stuff all the time.

a rare selfie
i took recently.
i also cut off my hair
it was quite long.

a bridge remnants
or logging boom?
i know we've had 2 other bridges on the
south thompson about 100 years ago.

this abandoned penguin
struck me as sad
because it was along
a sketchy part
of the river
where homeless people
set up "bum camps,"
and live for about 4 or 5 months
a year.

crazy isolated showers
are common here, this is looking East
up the South Thompson river.

I turned around
and caught this other isolated storm
looking West on the South Thompson river
on the Red bridge in fact.
