working on some new art, jeez, what a surprise, but also listening to this album, "Fair Warning," by Van Halen. I remember buying it over 30 years ago, because of the art, which is trippy and violent, even though I knew about Van Halen already, i knew this album was going to be different based on the artwork. and holy shit was it ever different, dark, trippy, heavy, and at times evil and scary.
it's stood the test of time, and is one of my favourite albums.
anyways, i just checked online and the artwork was done by a Canadian named William Kurelek, and the artwork is called, "The Maze."
there's even a film about it.
so there you go, a little history lesson for you, and some of what inspires my art.
until next time,
all the bets,
cb
